Diesel Technician

Cal Pacific Truck Center (CPTC) is a commercial truck dealership that sells new and used trucks to private and municipal customers throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. CPTC provides trucks for long term truck leases and shorter-term rentals to meet the needs of customers of all sizes and applications. In addition to selling and leasing equipment, Cal Pacific Truck Center provides full-service repair and parts support through our experienced employees and well-equipped facilities.

Job Summary:

Performs complete diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, or other failures on medium or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, or trailers. Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly, overhaul, testing, and repairs to International Trucks and Engines, Cummins, Allison, and other Truck Market products. This includes assuring each repair is performed in a manner that is both expeditious and cost-effective to the customer and Cal Pacific Truck Center. Works in conjunction with the Service Writer as an internal resource to ensure that customers are completely satisfied with the service experience they receive on every product and service that we provide.

Be able to use all tools of the trade such as precision equipment, welding equipment, shop machines, and power tools.'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
